A simple base for your favourite candle
Give your candle a proper place to stand with our minimalist hand-cast candle plate.
Made from high-strength gypsum, each plate is individually cast and designed to complement the candle without taking attention away from it. Its clean, simple shape works beautifully with both colourful decorative candles and more classic candle styles.
The plate features a raised outer edge and a recessed area in the centre where the candle sits. This creates a stable, defined space for one candle while also helping to contain melted wax as the candle burns.
It is especially well suited to our vintage ornament-inspired candles, including the candles from the 12-Day Advent Calendar, but it can also be used with dinner candles, shaped candles, small pillar candles and other freestanding candle designs that fit securely within the centre.
Choose between classic white, black or a colour-shifting chameleon finish. The neutral versions keep the look understated, while the chameleon option adds a little extra character depending on the light and viewing angle.
Because every candle plate is individually cast, slight natural variations may occur, making each piece subtly unique.
Use it as part of your everyday candle ritual, as a simple table accent or as a practical base for decorative candles that need their own little stage.

How to Use
Place the candle plate on a flat, stable surface away from drafts and flammable objects.
Position your candle securely in the central recess before lighting. Make sure the candle stands upright and fits comfortably on the plate.
Always follow the burning instructions supplied with your candle and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Easy Wax-Cleaning Tip
Got some hardened wax on the plate?
Allow everything to cool completely, then place the candle plate in the freezer for around 5 minutes. The chilled wax should become firmer and easier to gently lift away from the surface.
Avoid scraping the plate with sharp metal tools, as these may damage the finish.
