A little Christmas nostalgia, revealed one candle at a time
Some Christmas decorations become part of our memories. Their unusual shapes, bright colours and slightly magical appearance return year after year and somehow make Christmas feel like Christmas.
Our 12-Day Vintage Ornament Candle Advent Calendar was created around that feeling.
Inside the minimalist black calendar are 12 numbered drawers, each hiding a different candle inspired by traditional vintage Christmas tree ornaments.
Every day reveals a new shape.
And with every drawer you open, your own little Christmas candle collection begins to grow.
The candles are colourful and decorative, while the black calendar with silver numbering keeps the outside deliberately simple and elegant. The contrast makes the surprise inside each drawer even more special.
All 12 designs are different, with candles in a variety of shapes and sizes.
They are handmade and hand-poured in the EU from beeswax and are intentionally fragrance-free.
Display them, collect them or burn them
These little pieces may look like vintage glass Christmas ornaments, but they are actually real beeswax candles.
The longer wick is designed to form a loop, allowing an unlit candle to be hung decoratively on the Christmas tree.
You can also simply display and collect them, gradually building a miniature collection throughout December.
And if you decide to burn one, it can be used just like a real candle once it has been properly prepared.
This makes every piece part decoration, part collectible and part candle.
Your Christmas Countdown, Your Way
There is no single way to use this calendar.
Open one drawer every day for your own 12-day Christmas countdown, save the calendar for the final days leading up to Christmas, or open one every other day and make the experience last for most of December.
However you choose to count down, each drawer brings a completely new design to discover.
How to Display the Candles
The extended wick can be used as a small hanging loop so that the candle can be displayed like a Christmas ornament.
Hang the candle unlit only and keep it away from sources of heat.
You can also display your candles together on a shelf, Christmas table or other decorative surface and gradually create your own little festive collection as you open the calendar.
How to Burn the Candles
Before lighting a candle, remove it completely from the Christmas tree or any hanging display.
Trim the wick to a normal candle-burning length.
Place the candle upright on a suitable stable, heat-resistant candle plate or holder before lighting.
Because the 12 candles come in different shapes and sizes, their burning characteristics will also vary.
Never burn these candles while they are hanging, and never light them on or near a Christmas tree, branches, decorations or other flammable materials.
A suitable candle plate can be purchased separately from our shop.

Important Safety Note
These are real candles, not conventional Christmas tree ornaments.
They may be hung on a Christmas tree for decorative purposes only while completely unlit.
Before burning, always remove the candle from the tree, trim the wick and place the candle securely on a suitable heat-resistant candle holder or plate.
Never burn a candle on a Christmas tree.
